Wraparound Care

The Lea offers wraparound cover from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Parent Survey 2021/22: “We love the lea! We could not be happier with the care, attention, love and excellent teaching we have experienced whilst we’ve been part of this community. Wrap-around provision is excellent too and a big pull for us as working parents.”

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is open every day from Monday to Friday from 7.30am.

The club is run by two experienced Teaching Assistants who offer a welcoming, safe environment to pupils from Reception to Year 6.   Children are greeted by staff they know and are made to feel relaxed and comfortable.  Our Breakfast Club is very inclusive and our staff know the children really well from their other roles in school.  We offer a calm start to the day for our pupils who may struggle with the transition from home to school.

We have Healthy School status and don’t serve any food with added sugar.  Pupils are offered low sugar cereals with semi-skimmed milk, toast with honey or Marmite, fresh fruit and yoghurt.  They can have Apple juice,  milk or water to drink.

We have various activities on a rota decided by the children themselves.  This includes arts and crafts, Lego, K’nex, board games, table tennis, indoor football, snooker and many more.  They also make full use of the outdoor space and equipment.

Booking is made online using the Arbor app.  Contact the school office for prices.  Sessions can be booked as you need them (up to midnight the night before) or book a regular pattern in advance.  Payment will be taken at the time of booking.
