SATs & Key Data

All children in a state school in England complete key assessments throughout their time at school.
The most recent outcome of these standard attainment tests (SATs) for our pupils are as follows:

Performance Data (SATs Results) 2022-23

Performance Data (SATs Results) 2021-22

Performance Data (SATs Results) 2018-19

Please note that due to Covid-19, the Government did not publish any school educational performance data  for the 2019/20 or 2020/21 school years.

In addition, the government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

In 2021/22 our KS2 SATs results showed that 96% of pupils met the age related standard  and 39% of pupils reached a greater depth standard in reading, writing and maths combined.

In 2022/23 our KS2 SATs results showed that 93% of pupils met the age related standard and 23% of pupils reached a greater depth standard in reading, writing and maths combined.

We are delighted to see that this success has not come through excessive ‘revision’ or at the cost of limiting learning in the wider curriculum but rather from a more reflective and progressive approach to the teaching of the core subjects and an unbreakable belief that every child can achieve.  We could not be prouder of the children and all of those involved.

These scores, accessed in the link below, show how much progress pupils at The Lea made in reading, writing and maths between the end of Key Stage 1 and the end of Key Stage 2, compared to pupils across England who got similar results at the end of Key Stage 1.
